Viper - Nickel Safe Ice Machine Cleaner (473ml)

RT500N

Product Description

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

Until now, ice machine cleaners were nothing more than low tech phosphoric acid. Viper Nickel Safe is a blend of proprietary organic acids that will remove more scale faster than traditional phosphoric acid cleaners without damaging surfaces. Viper Nickel Safe is biodegradable and environmentally preferred over phosphoric acid (no phosphate release).

It is odourless, non-fuming and much lower in toxicity than phosphoric acid. The product is more water soluble than phosphoric acid for a more complete and easy rinse – this is why world health authorities and leading OEM’s such as Manitowoc™ recommend Viper Nickel Safe!

  • Certified - NSF, EPA, Kosher, biodegradable and eco-friendly
  • Technician Safe - developed by a service technician for service technicians
  • Food Safe - approved for use in and around food processing areas
  • OEM approved - used by OEMs worldwide

COMPETITIVE POINTS OF DIFFERENCE:

Compared with traditional cleaners containing phosphoric acid, Viper Nickel Safe is a more environmentally friendly biodegradable, strong organic acid ice machine cleaner that removes more scale – and faster – without damaging surfaces. It is also far safer for technicians, the consumer and the equipment.

CERTIFCATIONS:

NSF A3 registration number 145855 for use in food equipment. Kosher certified by OK Kosher. Tested to be non-corrosive to nickel plated evaporators and all the plastic components in Manitowoc™  ice machines.

APPLICATION:

General rule – 236 ml of Viper Nickel Safe solution per 1 litre of water.

On Nickel Plated Evaporators use 230g per 110/140kg. On Stainless Steel Evaporators you can double (2x) the strength. Empty ice from bin and add cleaner to the sump of a circulating system set in the cleaning mode. Allow to circulate for about 30 minutes and use brush to attack heavily scaled areas. Rinse system with potable water 3x. Place system back into ice production mode.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Remove ice from bin
  2. Switch machine into cleaning mode
  3. Slowly add 236 ml of cleaner for every 113-136 kg per day of ice production
  4. If capacity is unknown - 236ml per litre of water. Fill sump accordingly.
  5. Circulate for 10-30 minutes depending on scale load
  6. Discard spent water and rinse machine three times

FRIDGEY FACT:

Viper Nickel Safe Ice Machine Cleaner removes scale 75% faster than generic citrus or phosphoric-based cleaners, yet it is NSF Registered for use on food equipment – Category A3 Acid Cleaner, US EPA and Kosher certified.
