PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

Viper Big Blu Subzero is the original low temperature micro leak detector known for its long-lasting bubbles.  This one of a kind elastic liquid easily clings to all surfaces.  It is the only bubble leak detector capable of identifying leaks down to 18.5 grams per year.  It is safe to use on all gases including oxygen.  Freeze protected to -34°C to +95°C, non-corrosive, biodegradable and NSF approved for use around food.

Viper Big Blu Subzero is certified for use on any grade of gas, including hospital-grade oxygen.    Big Blu Subzero will detect micro leaks as small as 18.5 grams per year on thin, small micro-channel coils at temperatures of -34°C to +95°C.

Many competitive leak detecting solutions contain glycerine or other hydrocarbons that will react with oxygen gas to produce heat, a very dangerous and possibly explosive situation.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Coat all surfaces with a flat liquid free of bubbles or foam.  Focus on threaded connections, joints and valves.  Read our Leak Detection Manual for more information.
  2. Bubbles will form instantly for most leaks, while microleaks will develop white foam cocoons or tiny bubble clusters over 5-30 minutes.
  3. Place equipment back into operation and check for vibration leaks.
  4. Wipe surfaces (or rinse if water is available)

  • Viper Big Blu Subzero works in temperatures of -34°C to +95°C and can be used while the system is running.
