Gas2Go® Reclaim ensures safe disposal of unwanted refrigerant – every time.

As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce emissions from ozone depleting and synthetic gas refrigerants, Gas2Go® has a fleet of reclaim cylinders to assist in the management of end-of-life service, or breakdown of equipment in a convenient and environmentally responsible manner.

Once you have reclaimed the refrigerant from the air conditioning or refrigeration system, return the cylinder to your local Kirby branch. A credit will be issued to you for each kilo of recovered refrigerant, in line with Refrigerants Reclaim Australia scheme. All contractors are encouraged to recover and return all unwanted and contaminated refrigerant, so that it can be transformed and safely disposed of.

To comply with legislative requirements regarding gas disposal, it’s important to make sure that refrigerant is disposed of in a legal and environmentally friendly manner.

• Gas2Go cylinders are clearly identified for Reclaim to avoid mixing with other cylinders
• All cylinders comply with AS2030.1-1999
• Return of reclaimed refrigerant attracts a payment as directed by Refrigerants Reclaim Australia (RRA), a credit is raised via Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) and paid into your account monthly.

Availability

• Available in small, medium and large. If reclaiming R32 you require a designated reclaim cylinder, also available in small, medium and large.
• Cylinders are available ex stock from any Kirby branch outlet, with the option of delivery to site.
