Characteristics and Application:

• GWP 2729
• Non-ozone depleting HFC refrigerant (Ashrae A1)
• Near “drop in” replacement for R22
• Suitable for low and medium temperature refrigeration systems
• May be used with alkyl benzene (AB), mineral oil (MO) and polyester lubricants (POE), although it is recommended to change oil to POE*
• In most cases can be used with existing R22 TX valves
• Lower discharge temperature than R22 which may extend compressor longevity
• R422D is a HFC blend refrigerant
• Composition: R134a/ R125/ R600a - (31.5% /65.1% / 3.4%)
• Suitable for direct expansion evaporators
• Should not be used in systems that employ flooded evaporators
