The 16D17B-SC is a heat reclaim valve that has a 2-1/8" ODF solder connection and a 2" port size.  

The heat reclaim valve is used to transfer the discarded heat to other applications that require heat to improve and reduce energy costs. 

It is easy to install and can be mounted in a horizontal or vertical position above the valve body with the coil level.
